So, it's going to get really cold and windy here today. So cold and windy in fact that all of the other women in my running group have backed out of our run tomorrow. I mean, just because it's predicted to be 19 degrees at 8am with a 18mph wind, you would cancel?? I totally would too, but my half marathon is in a week and I'm not going to pass up my last opportunity to have a stroller-free run. At least I won't be running completely alone :)

Lesson for the future: black beans and brown rice wrapped up in a high fiber tortilla is an awful pre-yoga dinner. ;)
My husband is home today, but he has to call into meetings, so at some point he'll take Faith and I'll go hit the treadmill. We had a bet on the Jets/Patriots game last week and he was so sure that the Patriots would win that he said he'd make me dinner if the Jets won. Well, the Jets pulled through for me and now he has to make me dinner tonight, ha!
Does your spouse/significant other cook for you? What's their specialty?

My husband is king of the grill, but the kitchen? It usually takes him twice as long to put dinner together as it normally should, and the amount of questions I get...I'll just let him stick to the grill!
ReplyDeleteMy fiance is an amazing cook-when he does it. I love his pasta sauce!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, the hubby doesn't cook! He'll grill in the summertime though. What's your husband gonna make for you?
ReplyDeleteStay warm tomorrow! I understand needing to train, but I still think you're crazy!
He's making meatloaf! Call me crazy, but I love meatloaf so much :)
ReplyDeletemy husband is a better cook than i!! his favorites are home-made ravioli, home made beef stew, and roasted chicken!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is also an excellent chef, and I have to give your hubby some credit for this...after all, had it not been for Big Bro's distinct disinterest in the activity, Little Bro would never have received the same amount of one-on-one tutoring from the original Mrs. Kramer! My only qualm with Nick's cooking is that it is too rich and too expensive to eat on more than a weekly basis. So, since we are now officially going on a practice deployment-austerity budget, I'm pretty much the fulltime maker of food (:
