Spring for a day

I guess that fat little rodent was right, huh? Maybe spring is coming early this year! The high today will be....wait for it....72 degrees! The high for Tuesday is 36, so we plan on fully enjoying today. :)
Does this little hat make my cheeks look big?

My husband has off today (he has every other Friday off because he works a compressed schedule), so it feels like the weekend has begun. Bonus, he has Monday off too, so it's even a long weekend!

This morning Faith is going for her first trip to the park with other kids. The women that I run with are bringing their kids to a local park and we're all going to meet up. Faith is too little to enjoy playing with the other kids, but she does like watching them play, and I'm pretty sure she'll like the baby swing.

I went to hot yoga last night and it was pretty awesome. I was so, so sweaty by the end and my arms are sore today! The class is cool because it has both beginners and other teachers take the class. Some of the instructors (who weren't teaching, but taking the class) got into some crazy poses last night that I only dream about doing one day. I knew I should have taken gymnastics as a kid! :)

What yoga move is one your bucket list? I really want to be able to do a handstand one day!

Is it beautiful weather where you are, or are you still stuck in winter?

  1. That's awesome. I really want to try hot yoga! Last night one pose we did was half pigeon. I was able to get both hips on the ground and the instructor was impressed. I feel a little bit cocky :)

    My "bucket list" yoga move is a headstand. I'm able to do the wide leg forward bend with my head on the ground, but that's as far as I can get.

    Also, we're supposed to be in the low 70's today also, 40's on Tuesday, and then back up to the 60's the end of next week. It's like Spring is trying SO HARD to just break through. I can't wait!

  2. I havent tried hot yoga-the place in my town that does it is carpeted and that just gross me out-sweat and carpet and excessive heat-yuck!

  3. Carpet and hot yoga is an awful combination! That's right up there with using one of the community mats without wiping it down first. :)

  5. I wish I could get into yoga. It hasn't been as warm here as it's been there, but we broke out of below freezing temps, at least for the time being.
