A bad case of the "I don't wannas"

I didn't wanna wake up at 5:30am. Unfortunately, babies still don't come with snooze buttons, so I got up.

I didn't wanna deal with a baby diaper poop-explosion or a puddle of dog vomit all before 7am, but that damn maid didn't show up again today, so I had to take care of it.

I didn't wanna run outside in the cold mist. I also didn't want to be the one wimping out of a run, so since my friend was game, we ran.

I didn't wanna wear real cloths, so I decided to put on my yoga clothes very, very early.

I don't wanna run on super muddy trails tomorrow, but as my husband pointed out "Are you not going to run your 50K if it might be muddy?". Sigh, so I'm going to do it anyway.

I don't wanna pack for our trip to northern VA this weekend. I already hate packing for just me, but adding a baby makes it so much worse.

I don't wanna get off the couch
I don't wanna go to yoga with my feet in their present state. I really wish I could get a pedicure with Faith on my lap.

I didn't wanna take a bath!
What have you done today that you "didn't wanna do"?

  2. I didn't wanna wake up.

I didn't wanna go outside in the cold.

I also didn't wanna call this client (Who asked me all sorts of questions about invoicing and money. I'm just the designer. I don't want to think about the payment or even who you need to call instead.)

    Waaahhhh...

Also, why can't you get a pedicure with Faith on your lap? It's worth a try! Think about the amazing foot massage....mmmm....

  5. I didn't want to clean up an entire package of craisins off the kitchen floor and then a puddle of pee off the bedroom floor, but I have an 18 month old. And.....getting up at 5:30 in this household is a "good" day hahaha!

  12. Check you out, doing all that stuff you don't wanna. In our house, we've combined the two words and call it a poopsplosion.

A for fun trip to VA this weekend?

I didn't wanna....I guess today wasn't too bad. I can't really think of anything good to put here.

  15. I didn't want to get so sick I felt like dying...
I didn't want to take care of my babe alone today because my husband's deployed.

But that smile, and a midday nap after her vaccinations, that made it all better.

  16. P.S.
I've totally gotten a pedicure with my baby on my lap. Just take a few toys you can hold in the seat, turn on the vibration, and you're good to go!

Or you could always make your husband do it for you... ;)
