At bed time, Faith wanted to bring her stuffed bear with her to bed and I was a softy and allowed it. Off and on all night, she would wake up and say "RAWR!" and then start laughing. Then the bear seemed to inspire her to use her crib mattress as a trampoline, also accompanied by laughing. She never cried or needed me to get up and go to her, but I still couldn't sleep through the 2am, 3am or 4am play times. Never again stuffed bear, never again.
Finally, I retreated back to my room and fell back asleep. I sorta woke up when my husband got up to get ready for work, but not really. I didn't really wake up until I realized that the dog wasn't in the room anymore I could hear a distinctive sound from downstairs. You know, the "HURH, HURH, HUUUUUUUURH" sound? Yeah, that one.
If only she would use the toilet.
I guess she woke up and realized she forgot to get me a birthday present and had to improvise.
Luckily it was a beautiful day and we were able to go for a nice walk before running errands. Normally running mid-week errands is a breeze, but every thing was packed today...I think school is out? Lazy kids.
During nap time I ran on the treadmill. It would have be nice to run outside this morning, but the dog is still on restricted activity from her near death experience. She's spending the day at the vet tomorrow to get rechecked and I'm hoping they say she's good to run again because she's getting a little nutty (haha, get it? Peanut getting nutty? I kill myself).
This afternoon Faith decided to show me a good time. When I was emptying the dishwasher, she was busy filling it up.
These ponies are filthy
Then I was foolish enough to go the bathroom by myself. If you've ever wondered how much trouble a toddler can get into in just 5 minutes, well here is the answer:
I'm wearing my trouble making hat
Mommy left a shaker full of fun white sand on the table where I could reach!
Adding juice makes it more fun!
Yeah, that's a whole salt shaker's worth of salt mixed with apple juice. I mopped up twice and vacuumed and it still feels slightly gritty in spots. I guess the box of chocolates that my husband got for her to give to me wasn't her idea of a good present for me.
At least my husband knows how to let me have a great birthday and he went out and got take-out for dinner. Now that I can't have raw fish sushi, I've been really branching out on what kind of sushi I'm trying. I had my first spicy shrimp tempura roll tonight it was amazing! It's still no tuna avocado or rainbow roll, but it still sates my sushi craving.
What's your all time favorite sushi roll?
