I said I wanted to go home with Grandma, this is CRAP.
Fact: After doing this for a week:
![]() |
Ain't nothing but a hound dog
Peanut needs some kennel detox. It's going to take her a few days "re-remember" her house manners.
Fact: It's much easier to take a nice sunset picture without a toddler involved:
Uncle Nick and Aunt Andie can take a nice, normal picture
Toddler GLARE
Fact: Uncle Nick is at least 187 times more fun than Mommy.
Fact: If I go shopping for fall clothes for Faith, I can't resist buying things for the new baby.
Little hand covers AND ears on the hood?? Who can resist?
Don't worry, Faith still got tons of stuff and I got her get the robe of her dreams. She ran around like crazy after bath time hopping like a bunny in this:
Again, the EARS. Kid stuff is so cute.
Fact: Tracksuits on a toddler are the most adorable thing ever.
Does this shirt make me look fat?
Repeat fact: You never know what you're going to get when you take a picture with a toddler.
Mommy, you SMELL. GET OFF ME.
Fact: It may only be mid-September, but I'm already excited about Halloween. This is largely due to being due the next day, but this is also a factor:
That's right, she already has a costume
If you want to see the pony/unicorn costume in action, here's a short video:
Are you excited for Halloween yet, or is it still too soon for you?

You absolutely need to bring her with you at next year's Pet Day in that. And bring Peanut in the jacket with the jockey. You can leave Faithv2 behind.
ReplyDeleteI think that tablecloth you're wearing looked better on the table.
ReplyDeleteRamsey has the boy version of Faith's Halloween costume (a brown horse). Taking video footage is a great idea.
hahaha I was going to make fun of the plaid too, but your comment was better. Well done.
DeleteDo you dare mock my hand me down Motherhood Maternity frock?? This could basically be a fashion blog.
DeleteThat costume is the cutest freaking thing ever.
ReplyDeleteJeff's whole family has super tall genes, huh?
ReplyDeleteI love that faith has the bunny suit from a Christmas story! It looks so much better on an adorable 2 yr old girl than a 9 yr old boy.
I'm going to be the short one in my family, I think Faith will be taller than me by the time she's in middle school haha
Delete1. I hate you for raising the stakes on Halloween costumes. I'm still struggling with figuring out what to do.
ReplyDelete2. Why must you tempt me with all this Uncle Nick deliciousness? And goodness are the men in that family tall!
3. You really should reconsider that tank top. It's make you look pregnant.
Oh my god, I laughed three times over with this post. First, that first picture of Faith is priceless. But, then the unicorn-oh man, I need to get my niece that costume. So, so funny. Thanks for the laughs.
ReplyDeleteFor the love of all things holy, get Faith a gold chain and teach her to do the running man in that track suit. Then film it. You can thank me when that gold nugget goes viral.
ReplyDeleteThat was my first reaction too! I need tips on teaching toddlers dance moves :)
DeleteThe Peanut picture cracked me up!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids keep changing their minds about what they want to be for Halloween. I think I'm the only person whose daughter wants to be Luke Skywalker. Most of the time. She told me the other day that blue is now her favorite color because it's the color of Luke's light saber.
Your kid has good taste :)
DeleteOh man, I'm just trying to get through Sept....I haven't even thought about Halloween yet! We don't really do anything for Halloween. I'm too old and married to dress up like a slut and go out, and I don't have kids so trick or treating is out.
ReplyDeleteFaith's costume is too cute! I love it!
You're never too old to slut it up for a night.
DeleteWho told you that, Kara? Peanut?? You can't always listen to Peanut. Just think what your health would be like if you took Peanut's advice for how to deal with stray poo.
DeletePeanut really needs to lay off giving advice.
DeleteFaith's halloween costume is the greatest thing ever. Now where is your Koolaid man shirt??
ReplyDeleteI still need to figure out my costume. It's going to be legendary.
DeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of A Christmas Story. "He looks like a deranged easter bunny!" :) That costume is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to re-watch that movie because I'm drawing a blank on this reference!
DeleteI love Halloween but have no idea what I'm going to wear. I want to borrow Faith's costume.
ReplyDeleteThey really need to make an adult version!
DeleteMy daughter just left the house wearing a halloween shirt, skirt and bat headband. Can it be too early???
ReplyDeleteI want that costume! So adorable. I'd better get my game on and get my kids costumes.
I'm with Faith. Who would want to leave the beach?!?
I could have gone for a few more days at the beach too!
DeleteIn faith's defense I wouldn't want to leave the beach either.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'm excited about Halloween itself per se, but I sure as excited about the candy...
*Faith. Sorry, didn't mean for the lower case :)
ReplyDeleteI got married on Halloween day. What does that say about me? Not excited about it though but I do want to put all my fall stuff out.
ReplyDeleteOne day Faith is going to thank you for all the pictures that captured her moods. I think the top picture needs to be pulled out when the first date comes over.
I never got to buy cute pink things since I have 2 boys. I love seeing all the pretty pink stuff out there:) Too early for thoughts of Halloween and it's not as fun once the kids get taller than you. Not as fun to dress up:)
ReplyDeleteThat costume is too cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE her horse sounds!!!
ReplyDeletei'm excited for reese PB cups!
ReplyDeletefaith looks like a mini shalane flanagan in her track suit :)
I think Faith may already be half of Shalane's size. :)
DeleteHer voice makes me so happy. So freaking adorable.
