And this gentle readers is why you can't believe the claims made by Huggies Overnight diapers, and you should still do a courtesy diaper change at the 4am feeding. That size 5 Huggies diaper was pushed way past maximum capacity. I swear it weighed more than her.
OMG Mommy, STAHP!
OK, on to dryer and less disgusting topics. Faith had her first day of Mother's Day Out today!
False. My Mommy never goes out.
The first day went pretty well. Drop off was a little rough. Cordelia cried when we had to leave Faith behind and I was told that Faith cried for about five minutes after I left. She was passed out on her nap mat when I came back to get her and she ate most of her lunch, so I call the day a success. Wouldn't it be hilarious if that's how adults measured success? "Well, I ate my whole packed lunch and slept when I was told so this was an A+ day!"
I am living the dream!
I'm actually just really lazy
It was strange to just take care of the baby today while Faith was gone. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the house felt so empty. It's going to be even worse when Faith really starts school next week and she's gone 4 days a week! Remind me about this when school lets out for the summer and I'm freaking about about having them both home all day, ok?
Today was my third day in a row of running 10 miles. I could lie and say I planned that, but it was really pretty random. After two days, I thought it would be interesting to see if I could do three days in a row. Turns out it's not that hard, but my legs are tired now. I'll probably rest tomorrow so I can be ready for a long run this weekend.
Do you ever do back to back mid-distance running?
What's the grossest thing you've ever had to deal with before the sun is up? I think the time the dog threw up her own poop that she had eaten still takes the cake for me.
