When Faith started gymnastics, she couldn't even hang from the bar...her arms weren't strong enough to support her long heavy body. Many toddlers are like little monkeys, but not Faith. She's at least a head taller than her peers and her size seemed to slow her down. After a summer of gymnastics, that's not true anymore! My husband came to her class last week so I was able to take pictures for the first time. He also got to do the whole class with her, even the stretches in the beginning.
See, I'm touching my toes!
Then Faith showed off her ninja balance skills:
I'm the only kid here with feet as wide as the bar
Then my favorite part: The kid who couldn't hang from a bar in June can now do all this:
This ain't no thang
LIKE A BOSS
Toddler abs of steel!
Despite all her strength gains, her favorite part of gymnastics hasn't changed.

I sure miss being able to do something for 40 minutes once a week and actually get better at it. If that was still the case, I might actually do yoga. No, that's a lie. That shit is boring.
Can you touch your toes? I can, but I'm making a pain face while I'm doing it.
If you could pick one skill to know instantly, Matrix style, what would you choose? I'd probably pick a language. I'd love to be completely fluent in another language!
